Originally from the Metro Boston area, Dana Welts has been based in the Berkshires for the past 40 years. You may hear a heavy sixties vibe in his songs which are filled with strong hooks, memorable phrases and delivered with pretty good guitar playing. He has been influenced by a lifetime of studying, digesting and performing music but has never been accused of sounding like anybody except himself.
